Durable
Was able to source a 30/20 Hype in July 3 weeks prior to the release into stores. This bat is seriously durable. Our has 3,000 plus solids hits on it and it has zero signs of cracks starting. The paint is not even spider cracked. The pop is good better than alloy. Did have decent pop out of the wrapper. Light Swinging and low hand feedback.

Bat of the year!
My son has been playing travel ball for a few years now and knows what he is looking for in a new bat. He likes that one piece feel, little to no vibration on mishits and of course good pop. This bat from Easton meets and exceeds those expectations. The two piece design completely absorbs the sting on mishits but at the same time provides that stiff one piece feel he was looking for. The weight is evenly balanced allowing him to get the bat through the zone quickly creating more bat speed. We just got it broken in and the ball is jumping of the barrel. We have been through many other bats and I'm confident to say this is going to be the Bat of the Year!

Good bat so far… Time will tell…
After a few years of using composite bats, endless worries of cracking/breaking, waiting for replacement bats, etc… we made a move to 2 piece hybrids. Once this bat came out and was tested at a demo site, my son decided he wanted to give composites a try again. Out of the wrapper, it did have some “pop” and has a great sound, with no feedback from miss hits. He really likes the feel and pop. We bought it at the end of the fall season and have yet gotten a chance to truly test it out, based on the low temp’s and trying to be safe with it. That is where I wasn’t able to give it 5 stars as of yet. The question as to how long it takes to break in and how long it will actually last is a big question mark, knowing it is composite. It was disappointing to find a couple paint chips on the bat without it being used in-game or being abused or neglected.
