A good bag, could be great with a few alterations
Overall this Rawlings bag is good for hauling around your baseball/softball necessities. It can hold two full size bats, your helmet, and a bunch of extra balls. Just keep in mind the carrying weight; since this bag doesn’t have a chest strap, the weight is not distributed across the chest and is rather all on the shoulders. One more thing I would change about this bag is to make the ball carrying pocket either a zip pocket or add a top closure to the existing bungee system. When we are packing softballs they have a tendency to pop out the top of the holder. We love the fence hook and overall sturdiness and convenience of the bag.

Top Pocket Area Ripped with Minimal Wear
I loved the idea of this bag having a front compartment for equipment and gear, and a top load "part" to store my phone, wallet, keys, and sunglasses. Despite only keeping small and light items in that top part, it ripped almost right away. I'm so surprised this happened because I actively kept this in mind as well as cared for the overall integrity of the bag while using. I see other bags housing a lot more items with significantly more wear and tear without this happened. I have actually tried to sew this back into place (more or less) but the fabric easily tore again. Overall very disappointed would not buy again.

A durable, spacious, and comfortable baseball back
The Rawlings Baseball Backpack is a solid pick if you need something tough and roomy. It looks good, with a simple, sporty design, and holds all your gear. The two bat holders on the sides are handy, and there’s a spot for your cleats so they don’t stink up the rest of your stuff. It’s comfy to wear—padded straps that won’t dig into your shoulders, and the back’s breathable, so it doesn’t get all sweaty. It’s definitely built to last. The material’s tough, and the zippers work smoothly even when it’s full. Only downsides is it’s a little big if you’re not packing much gear, and there’s no real spot for a water bottle. But, overall, it’s a great bag for anyone who plays ball regularly.

Tough, spacious, and impressively designed.
I'm seriously blown away by this bag. The Rawlings Impulse is everything a ballplayer could ask for. Rugged, roomy, and ridiculously well designed. It fits all my gear with ease: glove, helmet, balls, and even has a ventilated compartment for cleats that keeps the stink in check. The bat sleeves are secure, the fence hook is super handy, and the padded straps make it comfortable even when it's fully loaded. Every zipper and stitch feels built to last. Whether it's practical, travel, or game day, this backpack delivers. Rawlings knocked out it of the park with this one!

Convenient and practical
Practical and effective baseball bag. My father and brothers all play baseball on the weekends and my dad was looking for a practical bag that isn’t bulky and has compartments for all his stuff. This is the bag! He can easily carry it on his back and love the fact that it has a shoe compartment in the bottom so no more unnecessary dirt!!! Like that there is a top portion where you can add your wallet (in a separate zipper), and your baseballs. Everything literally has its own compartment. The side pockets are for bats which can easily fit 2 and are zipper adjustable. The back and straps are padded. I truly do recommend this bag.

Great size that fits all the gear!
This bag is the perfect size to fit all of the baseball gear including space for cleats on the bottom, the bat storage has a zipper making it secure to the side, glove space on the outside, the top compartment my son uses for his hats, gloves, snacks if he has them haha, etc. The inside component is large to fit helmet and a large half gallon water jug. Very functional design and honestly well thought out. I wish bags for other sports thought of how to optimize the space like Rawlings has with this one. Would highly recommend for teens and older.

Perfect
Rawlings impulse baseball backpack is very spacious and good quality. My 14yo can adjust the straps to fit how he likes. I love the pads on the back, making it more comfortable to wear. My son likes the top pocket so he can put smaller snacks and phone in it. The hook on the back is a plus. My son now has the option to hang his bag instead of dropping it on the ground. He can also carry his bat in the side pocket.
I love that when my son isn't using his baseball backpack for baseball, I can use it for trips and put my shoes in the shoe pocket.

A well made Rawlings backpack that fits comfortabl
I’m really happy with this Rawlings backpack! The quality is excellent the material feels very durable, the stitching is solid, and the zippers glide smoothly. The padded straps and back support make the fit really comfortable for my 16-year-old, even when the bag is loaded up. It sits well on his shoulders, feels balanced, and isn’t too bulky to carry around. I also love the thoughtful design: plenty of compartments to stay organized, ventilated mesh sides, and a sharp style that looks great on and off the field.
The only downside is that it wasn’t quite big enough to hold his full catcher’s gear, but for regular baseball/softball equipment or everyday use, it’s perfect. Overall, a well-made, comfortable, and reliable bag that I’d definitely recommend!
