Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pro Label Birch > maple I have both the KD2 Birch & the OA1 Maple & idk if I just got a softer piece of lumber but ld pick the Birch everytime .. Without any break in it has more pop str8 out the box , and the thinner handle you can whip that thing theu the zone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rawlings knows BIRCH Have always liked swinging ash more than maple because of the flex and feel. with good ash becoming more and more hard to find I decided to try the KD2 birch and from first swing I trust this wood. this bat is a combination turn model, has a 110 handle with a larger 271 barrel. I have always swung an I13 and picking this up was a very smooth transition, weighting is very similar
