Fantastic glove!I’ve always wanted a 1b glove, and since I started playing 1B in my adult baseball league, I could finally justify it.
Simply, the quality on the glove is outstanding. Everything about it is really well done.
The only reason not to get one is the price.

NOT A GOOD GLOVE!My son used the Rawlings Renegade($79) for years when he was in Little League, never had an issue with it so the summer before his Freshman year I decided to order him a Rawlings custom glove($400+). My son’s custom order glove laces broke also but at least the custom glove’s laces didn’t break until over a year, but it got floppy so quick, that’s another story. This new glove’s laces broke the first game my son had used it, and almost cost us the game! He is the only first baseman on the team so nobody else has a first baseman’s glove, and of course we didn’t bring his other glove as a backup, since we have a brand new glove! So we had to scramble to fix it, good thing one of the parents had some laces with them! We paid over $400 for this glove and IT BROKE THE FIST GAME IT BEING USED! REALLY? Come on Rawlings this is supposed to be your premium glove it’s the Pro Preferred Anthony Rizzo glove! Use better material! Now my son will have to used his floppy glove for at least another 3 weeks because it’s going to take that long for Rawlings to fix it and ship it back! I should have never even bothered returning it and just bought me some blue laces to fix it! But the other part of me wanted them to take responsibility for a crappy product that they sell at a premium price!

DisappointingMy Kid is in high school. Used glove in a total of four practices during summer and web laces broke. Didn’t even make it to a game. Thought spending this much on a glove it would have held up. He’s always used Rawlings since he began in little league and loves Rawlings gloves. His glove last year from Rawlings was half the price and held up to last game before breaking. You’re supposedly paying for better leather. Are we not using higher quality laces. I’ve never had laces break so soon on any cheaper Rawlings used.
