Good bat, wish it held up longer
Bat feels very similar to the Tatis23 by Victus, although half of the price. I13 feels very balanced for a bat with a large barrel and good balance to it. The way it swung was very nice, balanced; but still had some firepower with that large barrel. Also, this bat did not ring up the hands, and I did not notice much sting for miss-hits. The ball squared up will be launched, but miss-hits will still have enough carry on them to warrant a base hit here and there. Overall the bat had great performance.
Unfortunately, this bat only lasted one day since I got it. I was taking several rounds of batting practice off of the pitching machine at the cages, and I hit one ball of the end of the bat, which ended up shattering the handle. I squared up most of the pitches, and my second hit off the end of the bat ended up breaking it. I did not bone the bat in, and hit with the label facing up. I was disappointed by this result, especially for a bat that costed 100$, but I do not want to place too much of the blame on the bat itself, due to me not boning it in, and also hitting it off of the end. I was hoping for a bat that could last a long time, but this one broke a bit sooner than expected. I would like to give this a 3.5 review due to it breaking, but 3 stars seemed a bit low for how good it was when it hit the ball, but not a full 4 due to it breaking so soon, and no warranty included.
I would give a 5 if this bat held up, but will have to leave a 4 star to it breaking, and unfortunately not having a warranty. I'd say if this bat goes on sale its worth getting for sure, but for 100$ I would just save the money and get a really nice 150$ bat from one of the other major brands, or check out one of those maple Tatis 23's at Dick's Sporting Good since its a very similar turn model.
TL;DR: Solid bat, good sweetspot/pop, fairly balanced / broke on the first day (mostly my fault). 3.5/5
