Best bat I’ve ever had feels so good almost everywhere you hit it and is so easy to get down to the ball and has shown no signs of damage as it is built really well although it did have a thin handle but it’s balanced weighting more than made up for it and I just replaced the stock grip with a 1.75 grip on it and it felt amazing

2023 Rawlings Icon BBCOR -3
It's light and easy to swing, with a good grip. I enjoy swinging the ICON. I have a lot of control on the barrel. It feels lighter than other -3 bats. The ICON is more balanced than I expected. I'm not a big fan of the tapered knob on the ICON because I like to feel the handle more at the bottom (purely preference), but the handle feels fantastic. There is ZERO sting on this carbon composite. The ICON has a HUGE sweet spot and the pop is INSANE!
If the 2024 ICON is better than this, I need to game that bad boy ASAP!

Good Bang for Buck
I bought this bat about 8 months ago for my 13 year old son, who will be playing up in 14u travel ball this season. The bat has good pop, and a pretty forgiving barrel. It seems to be well balanced with a good size sweet spot

We bought this expensive bat after encountering firsthand the reliability issues with Demarini. After having this bat for less than two weeks the end cap broke off of it and I had to send it back to Rawlings. My son is in the middle of his high school baseball season and is having to borrow someone else’s bat on the team.

Craziest pop I've ever seen
bought the Icon after watching the Baseball Bat Bros review.
The pop is unreal! I never thought that my son would stop swinging his Z1000, but this bat has replaced it. His 1st 2 ABs were a 2 run double and a 3 run double that almost went out dead center. He's a gap to gap hitter, but I think some will end up going out soon swinging the Icon.
Too bad he's playing wood bat all summer, otherwise it would be nothing but tanks!
Hope it doesn't get banned. I think it may be too hot.

Defective bat
Bought this bat 3 months ago end cap came off clearly bat if defective since manufacture whatever is use to seal the end didn’t work first time why would it work the second time ridiculous…Rawlings repair the bat it still feels lose they said that’s the best they can do it’s joke for a million dollar company not to make it right I spend $500 on this bat they claim if there is secondary issue to contact them it should of been made right and send a new bat the first time, worst customer service I ever seen last time we purchased a bat from this company unacceptable!

I bought this 2 weeks ago and already have a broken cap like other reviewers and wanted buyers to know about this issue. I trust Rawlings will replace this but I hope they have upgraded their cap. Would have been 5 stars because until the cap broke my son loved it.

Blown End Cap 4 months after purchase
Purchased this bat in April 2023, used in game only and as of mid July 2023 the bat rattled and the end-cap is loose. The bat has lost all pop (I’m guessing from the detaching end-cap).
At $500 I would expect better quality & a bat to last a full season (or multiple seasons). With that being said, my son had some amazing hits, great balanced feel and large sweet spot. Too bad we will be submitting for. Replacement. I gave this 4 stars for the response my son had while being able to use this bat and I’m hopeful this was a fluke and Rawlings finds a solution!

Broke in 3 weeks
I bought the ICON 32 BBCOR for my son to use in his All Star and travel ball teams. Only had the bat for 3 weeks and used it on 3 occasions before this $500 bat cracked, rendering it useless. The barrel cracked at the base of the handle. Travel ball practice starts this week and his brand new Icon is useless. Rawlings warranty is slow and unresponsive so far. What a disappointment!

Do not hesitate to buy.
The ball jumps off this bat with an incredible sweet spot. Straight out the wrapper and really feels to be getting better after the first 3 buckets of balls we hit. If you hit the ball off the hands or the end and you'll only know by the sound. The ball still flies and there is no vibration on the hands if you happen to miss the barrel. Sounds great when you catch the barrel. The weight on the swing is perfect
Small complaint (s) is only wish the grip was thicker.

Great bat but end cap broke off after two weeks
Bought the Icon 33/30 on April 25th after sons Voodoo One knob broke off. He loved the feel and used the Icon in one HS game after break in period and hit a walk off double. End cap broke off next day in pregame swings. Extremely frustrating.
