My 10 year old son recently had the chance to test out this new Rawlings prototype baseball bat and I must say, it has exceeded all expectations! The impact it has had on his bat speed and overall batting average is simply remarkable. First and foremost, the weight of this bat is perfectly balanced, allowing my son to generate incredible swing speeds. The bat feels incredibly light in his hands, enabling him to react quickly to pitches and make solid contact with the ball. The enhanced bat speed has noticeably translated into increased power and distance, making it a game-changer for his performance at the plate. One of the standout features of this bat is its impressive sweet spot. The ball seems to jump off the barrel effortlessly, providing excellent pop and precision. My son has experienced a significant boost in his overall batting average since using this bat, and it's evident that the technology behind it has been carefully engineered to maximize performance. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bay, swings great with a nice sweet spot My 12 yr old swung this bat and thought it felt great. He did say it swung very light. He usually swings a 31-5 but lost barrel control with it. We switched to the 32-5 and an immediate increase in exit velocity along with a ton more solid shots. With it swinging extremely light I think this will be great for someone moving up to the -5 weight or a good contact hitter. My son also liked the tapered handle.

The bat held up really well and had some good pop pretty much from the first swings. One comment my son has was he wished the handle was a little thicker/wider, but otherwise he used this bat a lot. 30in, drop 8 USSSA

Balanced enough to make it fairly easy to get to know, enough weight to get the ball out a long way. Only thing I would recommend is a different bat grip. I’m using a lizard Skin 1.8mm with an added taper as it doesn’t come with any sort of tapered handle. This is more of a preference thing though.

Right out of the box, the MACH AI was already more visually appealing than the Clout. Sound quality off the bat was 100% better than the Clout. The only area of improvement that would have been nice is for the stock grip to be thicker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bat!!!! My son plays 9U travel ball and loves this bat. He’s only had the bat a couple weeks but, he already has more solid hits than with any of his other bats. He has been swinging a 29/19 up to the point this bat arrived. He has moved up to a 30/20 without missing a beat. He is able to swing this bat with ease since it is so light and balanced.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall great! I started testing this bat a few months ago and it took an adjustment period for the weight distribution but once I grasped it, I was rocking the ball. The grip was too thin for me and I did upgrade to a lizard skin making it much smoother on my hands. The distance this bat hits the ball is remarkable. Good pop.

The handle was a little narrow, not my preference. The bat swung light for a -5. Solid bat but couldn't get past the grip and handle feel to swing regularly.

When breaking it in, had to choke up more than usual. This bat didn't disappoint and would highly recommend!

Got him the one piece alloy Cat X last season and he’s completely ditched that bat since getting the MachAI. He plays on a Majors level 9U team and has had some nice ABs against good pitching. Definitely a keeper!
