After multiple years of engineering and testing, the Rawlings Mach leg guards were created to fit well, and outperform the competition. The new, patent pending, Intelligent Knee Positioning technology provides a low profile, full conforming fit for unmatched comfort. Inspired by motocross style leg guards, these Mach catcher's leg guards fully conform around your knee to provide full protection while standing, squatting, or sitting. As a result, you'll get top-notch protection and increased mobility behind the plate (versus traditional leg guards).
In addition, they feature variable placement knee and inner shin pads, which allow you to get a custom fit. The adjustable toe flaps also provide full foot protection too. Lastly, the easily adjustable Velcro straps allow for quick attachments, and have a silicone backing to keep them in-place, and comfortable, during play.

Great leg guards
Super comfortable, lightweight and form fitting. Once on, the leg guards feel like they are part of your leg. Great mobility and streamlined strap design. Between the toe strap and the silicone leg straps, these shins stay in place. Solid pair of shinnies.

Mach Leg Guards
By far the best catchers shin guards ever. My son absolutely loves them. The most comfortable and easy to get on and off. It doesn't have annoying clip metal clips. Unbelievably comfortable and easy to run in when backing up first.

Think twice before buying
So the gear looks great, my son got all white for his Sr. Year in HS however one of the quick release connector is defective. Customer service no help at all as they do not have any replacement straps in stock... Not a great experience dealing with them.

Stay away from these leg guards!
Bought these for my son last season and they are HORRIBLE! We’ve been buying Rawlings catchers gear for over 12 years and never had an issue but this set are awful!

Not worth the price
We purchased the Mach catchers gear for our son in May of 2023. Before the end of his summer season one of the connectors broke. Contacted Rawlings, after much back and forth with the company we were given replacement straps. Fast forward to summer 2024, we have had the gear a little over a year and there is a crack developing in the plastic of his right leg guard on the knee. My son likes this gear, it is comfortable and easier to move in, but this gear is not built to last. It is not built to be used by a high level catcher, it cannot withstand the wear and tear like other gear. Very disappointed overall with Rawlings customer service. Getting the replacement straps only happened after months of persistence and back and forth with the company.

They do not last
I purchased my first set in December of 2022 10 months in the plastic that cover the knee cracked. Got the warranty replacement in December of 2023 and once again cracked and not covered by warranty anymore. only used for about 25-30 games.
